The project, performed at Ratcliffe power station, Nottingham, spanned from 2011 to 2015. A number of services were delivered, such as powered access and scaffolding, insulation, industrial painting, exterior cladding and asbestos management and removal.
In November 2014, KAEFER began an insulation project for Lang-Regler GmbH. Completed in April 2015 and only taking 3000 man hours, thermal and mattress insulation successfully insulated the new steam and condensate pipework at the papermill.
Starting in 2011, the project is still ongoing. KAEFER’s in house scaffold design and HSEQ support offers an efficient service and continues to offer significant value to our client’s operations. Services provided include DNO authorisations, access and scaffolding services, EHV transformer surface preparation and coating, and project management.
KAEFER continues to work on Sellafield and Magnox sites today, after beginning the project in 2012. Providing access and scaffolding services, insulation and asbestos removal, it is essential that the very highest standards of health and safety are adhered to at all times. This is why KAEFER have been presented with the “Contractor Safety Award” in 2007, 2009 and 2016 and Sellafield Ltd supplier winner “Going the Extra Mile” 2014.
210,000 man-hours are spent annually on this two ship contract, with work being undertaken across a number of our UK yards. The project began in 2010 and we aim to have the work completed by 2018. Services provided include HVAC design, fabrication, installation and commissioning.
During 2015/16 we provided an asbestos management an removal service at two sites, whilst securing a contract for site scaffolding, insulation and painting at GSK Worthing.
KAEFER provides asbestos removal, scaffolding and rope access, insulation and fire protection services at the Jaguar/Land Rover site in Fleetwood. The project began in 2015 and is ongoing.
From 2007 to 2009, services provided included cryogenic insulation, cladding systems and fabrication in Milford Haven, South Wales.
